Break down of the lyrics

Song Choice

Arctic Monkeys - Old yellow bricks is my song choice due to the fact they are one of my favorite bands, i can relate to there genre type. When given this project i instantly thought of an idea, the videos that this artist had done had very similar video types, i know of a perfect location for my video to take place. I printed off the lyrics and i am currently analysing them, looking for key words and sentences to connect and link with the subject i am deciding to do. The song i am doing is based on a youth culture, for example it talks about being "blinded By Nostalgia" this is talking about being blinded by youth which has given me a number of ideas for my video. It is of an indie theme meaning i am going to have to relate the genre withing the narrative, so i was thinking a black and white suburb theme. This will be backed up by the use of tower blocks and a city suburb style scene.
